The American Black Belt Council (ABBC) Board is elected annually and tasked with
voting on any decisions that need to be made on behalf of the 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
The board is made up of black belt officers that have various roles, including:
| President |
Perpetual position to provide continuity and consultation to remaining board.

| Chairman |
Annual position filled by the prior vice-chair to act as leader, and chief scheduler of activities.
|
| Vice Chair |
Assistance to chairman, with the intent of stepping into chair role during second year.
|
| Treasurer |
Manages all things financial for the board.
|
| Secretary |
Responsible for organization communication.
|
| Director |
Four 2-year positions to provide nine possible votes, and assigned various duties from
training, education, marketing, fundraising, recruiting, etc..
