The ABBC has four (4) main areas of interest:
1. Instructor Training -
Advanced seminars and classes in (but not limited to) areas such as Sports Injury, Legal
Ramifications of Martial Arts Training, Educational Psychology, Other Martial Arts
Styles, etc. Some seminars may be open to non-ABBC members at higher fees.
|
|
2. Student Training -
Periodic inter-school competitions and exchange programs
between instructors from different member schools will be conducted, so that knowledge
and experience can be shared and enhanced.
|
|
3. Examinations and Certifications
-
Regional Brown and Black belt examinations will provide the participant with wider
exposure to other schools and styles in the area and improve the overall quality
and depth of the examination process. High standards and quality certification guidelines
are set for rank certification at the higher "Dan" ranks.
|
|
4. Public Affairs -
Get-togethers after seminars, tests and classes are encouraged for students and
instructors alike, culminating in a banquet at the end of the year.
